This will be the last of our redraft series, barring possible bonus drafts.
The Pelicans are picking first after trading Anthony Davis to the Lakers (that sounds familiar). They've got their eye on Duke phenom Zion Williamson.
After seeing how the early careers have gone for the players in this class, who should they take?

Zion + a dietician

Maybe New Orleans just isn't the right city for a rich young man who loves food.
Of course, Memphis wouldn't be either and they picked 2nd.

I wonder what the worst nba food city is

Off the top of my head, Cleveland or Salt Lake

Where is Canadian legend RJ Barrett?
reply
His VORP is lower than mine, so he didn't make it.

I don't like this one. I don't like any of these guys. I am trading back.
reply
This one really makes the point that it's time to end the series.

My inclination is to trade back so I picked other but if I did have to pick.
Zion Morant Herro
Honourable mention to Garland and Barrett.

None of the guys who have made All Star games are reliably healthy. The top two have major character concerns (albeit very different ones).
It's funny because this draft was considered much stronger at the time than 2018, which was probably the deepest one since 2003 in hindsight.
