This is crazy to think about! According to his models, $80k (72M sats) in yearly expenses, one could save $40k a year and do a 50-50 STRD, STRC split, reinvest the dividends, and can retire in 5.5 years! Absolutely mind-blowing.
One thing I will say is if MSTR blows up a lot of people will HFSP!

I have a hard time keeping track of these offerings. I own a bit of STRF and STRC.

This reminds me of the period of time when I was a shitcoiner listening to all these YouTubers making money on pump and dumps and sponsorships speaking with complete conviction and it always puts the hair up on the back of my neck.
Everyone planning for what's supposed to go right, discounting everything that could go wrong to zero.

Yeah MSTR can blow up but Bitcoiners were wrong about MSTR way back when. Thus a lot of Bitcoiners missed on easy fiat gains that they can uses to buy more Bitcoin or pay off fiat debt.
If a Bitcoiner continues to stack and send to cold storage and wants to play the growth game with these stocks with a DCA strategy from their fiat job I think it’s worth a gamble.

Where does the yield come from?
reply
it comes from selling shares to new peeps, i.e., constantly finding new capital/people suckers.

That's not an answer.

Hahaha we would need to review MSTR’s balance sheet and income statement to get an idea on how they are paying the yield

omg, this is pretty terrible... when the giant blowup happens, it is going to destroy credibility in bitcoin for like... 2 weeks lol; then it'll be time for the next great distraction;
on another note, stop gambling with fiat instruments!
reply
basically can't blow up (unless they do something new/dangerous, or bitcoin itself dies)

That’s my thought. I always think bitcoin can have a zero day bug and this whole project goes into the toilet. We never know what can happen to anything.
reply
Perfect we can stack cheap sats because fiat will strengthen against Bitcoin!

whosoever participates in the fiat empire shenanigangs, is a part of the problem; the bigger the commitment, the more the problem is built up; why contribute anything??!
