All of these players are having better years statistically than Micah Parsons, yet Parsons, who is having a good year, is the favourite to win defensive player of the year.

I think Parsons is getting a lot of credit for how much better the Packers D looks overall, which might be the case. I am not saying he isn't a great player or hasn't had a good year but it seems like he is getting the benefit of narrative more than actual production.
