It's truly incredible how they rose up in self-defense, expelling the drug traffickers, corrupt police, and politicians.
From what I've read, they've managed to maintain an exemplary level of security and organization compared to other regions of the country.
i have been wondering if it's usually easier to do in smaller towns, where people know each other and can conspire against the bad actors, as opposed to in large cities;
Miyamoto Musashi writes in the Book of Five Rings that mastery of the self allows one to be just as skilled in the one-on-one duel as in the army-on-army battle;
upon further contemplation, i think it comes down to the quantum of correct vs incorrect thots! as above, so below; as within, so without;

Very good point. I think it also has to do with people's state of consciousness and inner strength. It's like in a prison: a few control thousands, not because they are stronger, but because the others accept that order. When consciousness changes, everything changes.
