I've seen the other side of RyanAir, where they scrap a destination simply because the government of the destination isn't willing to subsidize them.
Pay your taxes, or buy arms and shoot the tax collector. Or stop your flights if someone isn't willing to bribe you with tax moneys or the ESG isn't acceptable to them. You'll eventually be replaced by someone that can make it work. Markets don't just choose winners, they also punish losers; especially whining losers.
