It's like saying we need subsides to go the moon or to mars. If you can't do something without subsidies(just don't do it), without free exchange with individuals that means that you need to take money by force from other people using the state, that's what subsidies are. If you are in favor of that you're a bad person just like any other socialist, then you're no different from stalin.
Ok so you oppose subsidies for rare earths supply chains independent of China.
Thus you advocate the west becoming hostage to China.
Great result from your irrational Libertarian dogma!
Become a vassal slave to China.
The reality is of course that many strategic investments can only be made by the collective capacity of the nation state - investments such as space programs and rare earths supply chains which in turn deliver scientific discoveries, technologies and materials essential to having a competitive modern economy.
Only governments have both the mandate, capacity and incentive to make such investments which do not deliver immediate gains to the investor but do deliver huge and essential strategic advantages to the nation that makes them.
Dumbass Libertarian ideology ignores these realities.
Thus you dumbly stumble into subservience to China.
reply
We need to rob other people otherwise we become a vassal slave to China lol

Correct USA is now dependent upon China for supply of rare earths due to its negligence to invest in its own rare earths supply chains.
Now Trump is pouring Billions into trying to rebuild US rare earth supply chains but USA will still be beholden to Chinese supply chains for at least a decade.
Taxation is not robbery - where taxation funds strategic investments that ultimately benefit the nation state that makes them and cripple those that don't.

So if someone refuses to pay taxes, that individual should go to jail or be killed?
reply
If I was in a position to decide the appropriate penalty for significant tax evasion I would consider deportation- preferably to somewhere with very low rates of taxation.
Somalia, Haiti or the Central Republic of Congo may be suitable?
If you don't want to pay taxes you are free to go somewhere they don't have much government or taxation.
None of you bleating Libertaian hypocrits ever do though.
Certainly tax evaders are bludgers and need some sanction on their sly freeloading robbery of all other citizens.
reply
So Stalin would say the same thing, but he was just interested in power. You really believe in communism lol
reply
You are demonstrably incapable of engaging in a logical reasoned dialogue.
When your Libertarian idiocy is exposed you revert to name calling strawman dumbassery.
reply
You can't support reality because you don't have moral values and robbing others is fine for you. So you change reality to fit your infantile ideas.

I will stop here, if you don't see taxation as robbery you're just mentally retarded and I can't help you. Go take your next covid shot, the next dose will work just like communism.
