Tall Travels was self-expression. I still believe that your primary audience should be yourself.
This is important. While I agree, instinctually, I also think it is important to be aware of the audience we may have internalized with our "self-reader."

Yes, I may share this in a future post, but all writing (a message to your mum or a 900-page novel) should be clear in its CAP.
C = Context (what type of writing) A = Audience (who is reading) P = Purpose (why you are publishing)
For sure, writing falls flat if it does not resonate with the reader. Still, for creative work or life writing, I like to start from the perspective of ME being the audience.
