Abstract

This white paper explores the principle of semantic restitution — the act of returning language, meaning, and sound to their original cultural and historical frequencies.

Within the framework of decolonizing the colonization of history, semantic restitution represents a form of linguistic justice: a process of restoring ownership of the syllables, narratives, and metaphors expropriated during centuries of imperial epistemic domination.

Drawing from the philosophy of Dr. John Henrik Clarke and related Afrocentric epistemologies, this document advances a methodological framework where etymology, vibration, and narrative become instruments of liberation rather than control.
