This article proposes a way to gain functionally equivalent to fedimint and cashu, but without a custodian, and a trade-off of a time limit on how long you can hold an ecash token before you must trade it for another or get "pegged out" of the ecash system.
If true, this proposal seems pretty much like the holy grail of bitcoin extensibility. Ecash systems can follow any ruleset, including liquid, monero, or eth, and this one also has the added benefit of being non-custodial.
Am I dreaming?
