Thanks for sharing this.
The updated BIP draft lives on github: https://github.com/bitcoin/bips/blob/master/bip-0003.md
It's a long read; for folks unfamiliar with these, the lowest-number BIPs lay out more fundamental aspects of social governance and consensus, while higher numbers are generally more niche and technical extensions.
One thing I found weird is the following sentence:
No content may be generated by AI/LLMs and authors must proactively disclose up-front any use of AI/LLMs.
Doesn't the first clause mean that nobody would ever disclose using LLMs? I guess maybe they want disclosures even if people used LLMs for summarising e.g. mailing list discussions when conducting research.

We have been getting a lot of submissions that are almost entirely LLM generated. We consider such BIPs low-quality and a waste of time. I don’t have an issue with people using LLMs to improve their language or grammar, when they come up with the content: the concept, motivation, rationale, design, and specification must come from the authors.

"Bullshit is an order of magnitude easier to generate than refute" and the situation is only made worse by people who paste LLMs output without even labelling it as such.
Thank you for the work you've been doing, defending against slop of both varieties!
