Too much pleb slop to wade through. False dichotomy too; the Lose-Lose is two branches the llm prompter cherrypicks. The right thing to question is the premise, ie "something needs to be done, bitcoin needs saving."
Let Bitcoin's Karens create Bitcoin Karen, join them or not, and carry on.
If you are satisfied by policy changes, help out libbitcoinkernel or not, and carry on.
I've actually read the whole thing. I really recommend it. What the author argues is that even if there is no code change there is a suffering of loss due to the fact that we are where we are as a consequence of Core v30 having opened Pandoras Box.

There is no "core v30" pandora's box it's nonsense.

imo the only thing Core v30 did give people desperate to start a coup a poor excuse to start one.
You might feel like a coup is necessary too which is cool. I think coups are good for bitcoin. I'm not part of this coup though.

do some people just shamelessly copy and paste from AI and call it a blog post...?

Yeah, indeed. I also think the author uses LLMs. However, so do some (mostly?) respected scientists. As long as the author accepts the responsibility of the produced text I can't blame them. I mean, equivalently, an expert programmer vibe coding is ok as long as it's still his/her head that rolls if there are faults.
