I notice they don't say what genre they were using in the survey, and if the people regularly listened to that genre. I'm not going to say it would make a big difference, but some genres are currently a lot easier to electronically generate than others!

As a musician I have to admit that I've been enjoying some AI generated music. I'm pretty confident I'll still be able to tell them apart though. Might look for a survey myself!

People also can seldom eyeball counterfeit Rolexes.
The art world has been wrecked by counterfeiting scandals, ala: https://www.cnbc.com/2018/08/16/think-you-can-spot-a-fraud-this-80-million-art-scam-fooled-experts.html
—And notice they play the same smug, "Betcha can't tell the difference 🤡" game.
All this, IMHO, will turn into a real Ludwig Mises-esque teaching moment; people will have to really ask themselves what they truly 'value' when they look for value.
(It's actually not sheer aesthetic quality)
