Many of us have had to deal with the sad troll on SN named @Solomonsatoshi. Hell I know more and more people have been muting them to prevent having to even be bothered by the idiot. Well everyone do I have good news for you! Not only do his posts no longer get engagements but his comments are dry as hell as well.
I stumbled across him blowing up the comments of @SimpleStacker post yesterday about the floated idea of 50 year mortgages (#1280919) and died laughing at the lack of engagement as he just kept commenting and commenting burning away his sats.
This then led me to look into how his posts and comments are performing and more importantly is he getting any sort of engagement even if people aren't zapping him. When you do the basic math he is providing the rest of SN engagement and sats because he isn't making any. In his last 15 posts the highest amount of sats he has earned is 136 and 6 posts have earned..... a whooping ZERO! His comments.... while we often throw each other some sats or CC for commenting this poor sucker is just racking up zero after zero with his "biggest" being 55 on November 5th.
I LOVE seeing a ill informed troll get what he should and just drain away the sats and pump them into SN. Troll getting what a troll deserves

True but boy do I love to watch them fail 😂

Don't not come here to arsemilk sats.
Do come here to challenge Libertarian dogma and US Exceptionalist/Imperialist arrogance and am constantly surprised by the near complete inability of its adherents to credibly defend their ideas.
If your ideologies had any depth you could easily refute my comments and posts with convincing reasoned counterpoints and arguments- but you demonstrably cannot.
Instead you debase yourself in the contest of ideas by stooping to disingenuous strawman and personal attacks and childish name calling.
Your consistent inability to defend your ideologies encourages me to continue exposing the shallow fragile base of bias, hype, fear and hypocrisy that underpins them.

The thing is, I actually agree with him broadly on a number of points, including the over-financialization of the American economy, the hollowing out of America's manufacturing capability, the danger of Chinese monopoly on rare earths production and productive capacity in general...
It's just that he can't seem to talk about or acknowledge anything else, so talking to him is just like getting a ball hit in your face repeatedly

Fair comment. I want mostly to talk about the things that I beleive as real challenges to our democracies, culture and freedoms. The response has been mostly hostile and being called a CCP bot, and determined avoidance of the issues. Not interested in back slapping self congratulatory arsemilking. But am human, and it naturally does hurt when called names, so I harden to those attacks in the belief they are mostly crude attempts to avoid the issues raised.
Our last remaining advantage may be our supposed freedom of speech (is that is even real? it does appear to be here on SNs at least) but we seem mostly incapable of using it to look at the most challenging things. I can understand peoples fear/reluctance to consider these issues but do not accept it.
Perhaps in this I am the village idiot to be laughed at and mocked but as long as I can I will not be silenced because I believe these issues are worthy of attention.

Sometimes I un-mute him and remember why I muted him.

When you cannot credibly refute someone who is describing things that challenge your preconceptions and biases and may even frighten you, seek to marginalise, ridicule and scapegoat them.
Its easier than considering the fact that you cannot defend your biases and preconceptions in a credible reasoned manner.
Keep circle jerking your way to the Libertarian Valhalla echo chamber...of ignorance and irrelevance.
