The section about marrige being a consensus protocol was the value a was looking for. I have wondered about relationships and a mathematical model just to make it more tangible for me.
Just to express it in a different way other than love or commitment based on subjective feelings.
Reading this abstract gave me an smile and make me think about it once again.
