NYT still don't know how to avoid the use of 'C' words in articles, while putting the 'B' in the title.
Nonetheless they are trying to suggest that Bitcoiners don't need to hide their faces behind ziptites anymore, instead they should learn to kick in the knees (*why not in the testicles?), or in the clavicle (*again why not in the nose?).
Still, even the most sophisticated protection can’t eliminate every angle of attack. Sometimes self-defense is necessary.
What if the attackers take you on a gunpoint?
Anyways, I think this hiding of faces (for whatever reasons) is actually a barrier, which stops Bitcoin (or Bitcoiners) getting some extra publicity.
I suppose there are more Bitcoiners (as the MCap for it suggests). If all somehow valiently come out of the shadows and start promoting it openly, the purpose for which Bitcoin was created can be achieved sooner imo.
Okay that's my less than 2 sats opinion on it.
