Welp all of the bills flaws were on full display tonight. Here are my three takeaways
-
The offensive line had no answers tonight. Giving up 8 sacks the Texans had a field day against Josh! When the Bills needed to pass they had no answers tonight. Josh hurt his throwing hand/arm due to the lack of protection. And on the last 4th and 1 play the left tackle Dawkins has a false start! Ugh I almost feel terrible for Josh he has to play hero ball it seems.

The defense once again can’t stop the run. But in today’s NFL it is truly hard to stop an offense for a full 60 minutes. Towards the end of the game they played well enough to let the offense get back into the game and have an opportunity for a game winning drive. All the injuries on that side of the ball it’s hard to be too critical of them.

The offensive coordinator looks lost at times. To many plays got blown up! All the WR screens and never throwing deep is a true shame. Keeping Keon on the bench when we have injuries with a few of our pass catchers. The coaching decisions in this game were suspect. The defense is meh with a defensive head coach and the offensive coordinator seems to be overmatched at times.
This loss is frustrating but I just think overall this team isn’t that good. Josh has been so so but he’s back to throwing interceptions. But the Texans defense had the perfect plan to stop Josh so they win.
Next up are the Steelers! While I don’t think this team is good enough to make it to the super bowl it is still fun to watch Josh play so I am still very much invested in this season.
As always
