I'm liking https://hamstr.to/ , very clean Twitter-like UI.
That said there is no single app that gets everything right, so I'm using multiple (hamstr, iris, snort) for different things. Power of protocols

iris.to is great. martti is constantly updating and improving.
others to look into are coracle, snort, and daisy.
