MSCI – which is proposing to delist companies that have more than 50% of their balance sheet in Bitcoin – has the following balance sheet:
  • 54% in Goodwill (premium for acquisitions – intangible assets – such as payment for know-how, expected profits, etc.)
  • 16% in intangible assets (trademarks and patents, software, usage rights, etc.)
In other words, these companies have 70% of their balance sheet in INTANGIBLE ASSETS, but those who have 50% in Bitcoin DESERVE TO BE BANNED.
Indeed the irony!! Thanks for explaining what goodwill is! Never knew what that meant on a balance sheet until today
