This is a hilarious and totally a publicity stunt but gosh is it weird.
  • The AI robot known as "Rizzbot" was severely damaged by social media influencer IShowspeed
  • The attorney for the company is speaking out and is raising a lot of questions about AI moving forward
  • APD says the investigation is open and ongoing
"There are two types of damage here. There's the actual damage to the physical property itself; the robot was deemed a total loss, and so that has to be completely replaced, and the programming and everything as well. But also, you know, the big thing here was the value of some big missed opportunities that social robotics lost out on," said Levine.
Rizzbot also had to cancel an appearance with Mr. Beast and the NFL Today Show as a result.
Yikes. The "programming" having to be replaced sounds kinda suss though, unless it was live training with an onboard computer that didn't have any cloud backups?
Anyway, sounds like a clearcut case of property crime at the very least

Speed is a wild man. I'm a fan. At the same time, I wouldn't want to be in the same place with him. I think everyone who collabs with him knows this, and should expect chaos in their interactions.
I've seen Speed interact with a Unitree G1 (Rizzbot) and several 1X NEOs. He might have damaged one of the NEOs too LOL

Here's Speed's interaction with Rizzbot, a customized Unitree G1, in which he punches the robot in the face. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llHMolXocJk By the end of the video, the robot has to be carried off Speed's tour bus.
