Most of you would be aware of big clashes such as Real Madrid vs Barça in Spain, Boca vs River in Argentina or Milan vs Inter in Italy.
Here, in Seville, we enjoy a big clash too. It is a match between the two teams of the city. Seville has a population of 700 k people, where half of the city supports one team and the other half the opposite one. It is not just the match day what is involved. The result will be discussed for weeks in the city either at work or in a bar. Families are split in both teams. In my case, my father was a Sevilla fan and I support Real Betis. You can imagine these days at home.
Today, Real Betis beat Sevilla FC at home after 8 years of losing or drawing against them.
I can wait to go to work tomorrow...
