Are you suggesting the stats are inaccurate? I have no issue with the MAID problem. I do have an issue that we are pretty terrible at keeping our people healthy and cared for with the broken public system we have and continuously costs more and offers less.

The source article is from a religious clickbait site. The real world MAID program currently only considers people with terminal illness or awful untreatable chronic conditions. Obviously these people are gonna feel isolated, depressed, etc, but the article tries to misrepresent those stats as being the sole cause of their admittance into MAID. DYOR.

In 2027 we're scheduled to start admitting people with mental illness into MAID though, unless it gets delayed again. That's gonna be a much more controversial and very difficult situation to control responsibly.
