These kind of things are tough to start, but I'd love to see one of them succeed.
They mention something about "secure payment contracts" which makes me wonder if they are doing something fun with lightning contracts or something. But I couldn't find any details.

I have seen so many of these sites come and go I used one once for editing services and it was a terrible experience

If I had to guess the biggest issue with these are:
  1. double-sided market cold start problem
  2. no/limited/unreliable reputation systems

Also it's connected to a physical location (unless it's only digital tasks, which is limited in itself -- I'd think the most successful version of these things usually involves in person tasks. Especially now that we have chat).
