I know what ordinals are, but what does in mean that they're minted with Lightning? That you pay the mint with lightning? Also in what way is it integrated with nostr?

The inscription is done to a P2TR output derived from your nostr pubkey.
You pay with Lightning to mint them.

At the risk of dating myself, these kind of remind me of the Sexy Robot series (airbrush) by Hajime Sorayama. Just not as creative.
