It’s not just corporate locations. Revenue from licensed locations in places like hospitals, retail shops and airports increased more than 30% in the quarter, due in part to increased travel. Those stores are now generating 140% of their pre-pandemic sales.

Of course they are. Everything cost more which compounds with every customer. Its every customer is paying me 20% more because of inflation, im gonna make way more than 20% total year to year.

Says “thanks to a combination of higher prices and customers ordering more food and customized beverages.” in the first paragraph, but what precent is from “high prices”? Whatever the amount that is caused by “high prices” can be thrown out because that has nothing to do with “selling more stuff”. If prices go up, i could sell less stuff but make the same amount.

It does say sales rose 28%. I gotta ask though. How many other coffee shops around these Starbucks have closed down or moved? Just trying to rule out all variables.

Also, last quarter was the holidays. Wonder what percentage are gift cards and stuff like that. That can also account for airport sales.

I need to finish reading before commenting. They mention gift cards drove a lot of sales
Wait are they going buy units sold or money?
