We have Bitcoin nodes running on tor and Bitcoin nodes running on ipv6 and Bitcoin nodes running on I2p, so why not nodes running on nostr?

bitcoin and other stuff transmitted by relays (BOSTR) (PoC)

We use ZMQ and nostr to relay bitcoin transactions between bitcoin nodes
uses ben carmans "nip-85" nostr-protocol/nips#476
Bostr will listen to the rawtx bitcoin core ZMQ topic and forward transactions over nostr using kind(28333)
If there is another Bostr node running somewhere, it will recieve the ephemeral note containing the batched bitcoin transacations and submit the raw transactions to its node

I really like the possibility of Nostr acting as the decentralized carrier layer.
Like @justin_shocknet 's ShockWallet, I love the use of the nsec as the 'seed phrase' and when remote nostr signers are readily used it will enforce the security

Could be interesting to try.
I have running a nostr relay back further on a long list of things I'd like to do.
