That's possible as well. But I'd wager that the permitting for mosques is outpacing the permitting for churches, even if both are growing (which I still somewhat doubt for the latter, on net at least).

If we could only pull the permit data nationwide to see what religions are doing the most construction. Maybe the Mormons are doing it all
