I think you might be right, if she were in her 20's today. However, if she were just still alive and like 100 years old, I don't think she would have changed her mind.

My point wasn't a shot at Rand's philosophy (I love Ayn Rand's work), it was a shot at her cult like following.

If not for the cult of personality surrounding Objectivism, it would be a great match. However, Ayn Rand said gold was money, so that will likely be their position from now until the end of time.
