Does anyone talk about anything except NOSTR on NOSTR?
Ok, people talk a little about Bitcoin but most of the content I see on NOSTR is about NOSTR.
Don't get me wrong, I like the ethos and I really hope it succeeds but we need some variety in topic of conversation to make a robust network.

Because a lot of the people on there are the people building clients and relays. BBS's were the same way back in the day

I get it. It's early. I just want to discuss the fact that BLS is reporting huge job gains but withholding tax is dropping like a stone and everyone wants to talk about NOSTR and show me pictures of purple ostriches. Kind of feels like a circle jerk. I imagine this is what an ethereum dev call is like.

Because their numbers are manipulated. How are they adding jobs but losing income tax income? What are these jobs where they are not paying income tax lol?

Precisely. Is there nothing we aren't being lied to about anymore? And the majority of the population (the market included, who are supposed to be the shrewdest of all) just goes along with it.

Yes, instead of talking about Nostr all day, we talk about zaps on Nostr all day. Haha. It has gotten a bit better.
