Surprisingly a lot of people did. I was in the writing industry until mid last year, and we were seeing all sorts of stories of professional types using chatgpt to write their books and then getting shocked that someone had their material and published before they got their own copyright in place on the same.

Oh, interesting. I mean, I knew it wasn't gonna be private to the AI company or the data vendors, but I am a bit surprised if individual writers got their hands on someone else's works.
(Unless the real reason is that AI pretty much generated similar writing for multiple writers)
