Cashapp has a few advantages for now: debit card, instant bank transfers back to a fiat bank if needed, mobile check deposit, and their BTC bids are closer to spot- when using direct deposit they cover purchase fees. Paychecks get processed right away so two days early usually. Also you can withdraw sats right away with transaction fees covered as well. I recommend cashapp if you are in the states.

Depends on the circumstances really.
Lightning address for small amounts, nullama@stacker.news for example.
If they're paying you in fiat, you can setup at some exchanges an auto-buy and auto withdrawal, and you just give the payer your exchange details. They send the money there, it gets converted to Bitcoin, and then it is immediately sent to your own wallet.
If you're in the US there's a service called "Pay me in Bitcoin" that Strike started a few years ago
