Yeah, not only token but about as milk toast of a Republican as you will see in this era. Maybe during the Bush admin you could call him conservative. Not anymore.

He's been on PBS news for years supposedly representing balance to their left wing views. He rarely has much different to say and since Trump he's just been a sounding board to anti-Trump derangment. I say this as a guy has never voted for Trump and have many problems with the man.

Brooks isn't what most people think of when you say conservative today.

Just wanted to give a clearer picture.
