It's great for workflow, and for learning subject matter you know little about. If you're an expert, you'll usually end up being the one doing the teaching, which is a new play on value extraction.
Other complaints are it's too restrictive, and after a while slows me down from its predilection to give answers using 3 or more paragraphs in what takes 1, and too, it's wrong quite often with code.
The initial euphoria has worn-off for me, but I use it a few times a week. Professionals are still far more valuable imo, but using ChatGPT to fill in any blanks and ask "dumb questions" is invaluable.
As for the threat conspiratorial types that vote for one of the two political parties and shill aliens have made current Ai out to be, well they've embarrassed themselves. It seems all-powerful until you're an expert in something, then you see what the lion, tinman, and scarecrow did.
It's simply a tool, you need to learn how to use it efficiently. It does have it's pros and cons, but it can make you way faster than not having it.
