something I vibe coded over the weekend

arkade is a protocol that does transaction batching. one thing that's cool about it is that you can exchange receipts for utxos offchain (what they call out of round transactions)

fedimint is federated ecash

the app gives you a bitcoin deposit address that acts as a boarding address for the ark. the app auto enrolls you into an ark instance (massive taproot tree) where you still have custody of your funds.

then, you click a button in the UI that performs a lightning swap that eventually gives you ecash notes in a fedimint federation

basically, it's a bunch of apps integrated into one UI. anything you can do here you can do with your standard bitcoin wallet, boltz, and fedi.

but it was fun to play around with the arkade + fedimint SDK.

the app is inspired by mutiny wallet's "harbor" application
