2. It's mainly due to the fact that Bitcoin is still fundamentally technical and people were not raised with thinking about digital currency. They were raised understanding fiat and physical money. So, it's abstract and seen as something only tech geeks and the rich play with. It's not practical like a paycheck, a hammer or a car.
