It scrambles the message your isp gets so they don't know what site you're visiting, if i'm wrong please correct me

This came about from a while back, someone on Nostr was saying, if you just upload a picture 📸 hackers can find your gps position from the picture?!

Into the rabbithole we go, and it's all to do with EXIF data, a global standard on basically doxxing your pictures

But if you’re uploading elsewhere there's a free app called scrambled exif, which auto strips your data from the pic 📸

I was going to write something about this, but it's an absolute rabbithole in itself, i urge any new stackers to learn about servers and the data they leak

I think we could categorize them into a traffic light system

🔴 public servers leak like a sieve

🟡 servers like seth for privacy, blockstream and others are good but you're still sending your information out

🟢 run your own. I'm not quite here yet but this is on the horizon and by far the safest route

So yeah, there you go, expect more fallings into the 🐇 🕳 as i go deeper
