Whenever there was a surge of users to bitcoinhackers they would inevitably setup automatic cross posting from Twitter and then pretty quickly stop posting/replying directly in mastodon. It ended being kind of a graveyard of cross posts where no real conversations took place. Hopefully nostr can avoid this fate.
