What's the most surprising thing you've learned about men doing matchmaking?
The most surprising thing I’ve learned is how many men who look confident and successful on the outside are actually deeply unsure about whether they’re “doing dating right.” A lot of them aren’t afraid of commitment — they’re afraid of choosing wrong, wasting time, or being misunderstood. Many have very little honest feedback about how they come across, so matchmaking becomes less about “finding a woman” and more about clarity and calibration for them and letting them realize what they can get based on what they can offer too. It is about being realistic although most men don't have big requirements, deep down they just don't want to end up hurt so they really care about values.
What's the most surprising thing you've learned about women doing matchmaking? The most surprising thing is how often women undersell what they want. Many have learned to be “easygoing” or “low-maintenance” to stay likable, even when they’re actually looking for something serious and stable. When you create a space where they don’t feel rushed or judged, their preferences become much clearer — and they’re far more intentional than people assume! although I personally do not take women as clients, only men
