You expose your ignorance.
Since 1949 China has enjoyed more economic growth than any other nation.
And you think central planning was necessary for that growth? They couldn't have industrialized without the four pests campaign?
Yes, central planning was absolutely and demonstrably fundamental to that growth...however most of the growth has occurred since the combination of central planning and free market competition was introduced by Deng.
The mixed economy is a potent hybrid vigour approach when applied with skill and determination.
It is what gave China a near monopoly over refined rare earths and achieved the crippling of the US military industrial combine.
USA has lost the trade war and is no longer militarily capable.
@Cje95 knows it but must use sock puppets to deny and obfuscate the truth.
What "mix" are you talking about? Deng didn't introduce a "combination" of central planning and free market competition. He introduced free market competition, which should have been implemented decades earlier.
Wrong.
He introduced the state capitalism mixed economy that has proven extremely successful.
So successful Trump is now emulating it.
An economic decision is either coerced by the state or it's made voluntarily by a private sector entity. The state and the market can't coexist.
Now Japan is saying fuck you Uncle Sam-
Good. Japan deserves an independent nuclear military.
I can see why the Chinese would have been desperate enough to try allowing one party to possess totalitarian control of all economic activity. I don't see the results as being any different from what critics of communism would have predicted.
