This post was overdue, I've been thinking, researching, and rethinking for weeks. Finally pulled the plug, and I'm proud of it! I'll probably add more of my drawings later (got carried away with the history hehe).

The more I dive into religion (especially Jesus) the more in awe I am. He becomes a carved-out person, vividly human. All that humanity stripped from him, Mary, and everyone in his story... it's heartbreaking, but also inspiring.

As James D. Tabor might say (paraphrasing): Everyone deserves to know their history — even Jesus. I'm fascinated by it. Whatever your faith (or none), I hope this offers a fresh lens on his birth, like it did for me.
