Depends how it evolves. If it doesn't evolve its databasing to be high-performance, then all the cool shit of the future is off limits (8k video clips, in-app gaming, ai, animations, etc). Nostr can't compete with a platform using something like Redis non-relational database architecture that balances, shards, processes data in parallel. Forget it. This is grossly overlooked by too many people. But who knows? Relays can develop standards. Imagine NostrDB (a play on MongoDB) and go gigachad on mudafukas.
Maybe it becomes something else. A general marketplace of sorts? Less entertainment and more business focused society? It's going to disrupt quite a bit, but not the core products of any of the company's you mentioned.
What stops Nostr relay software to support Redis as a database backend?
