49ers are playing the best, might get the 1 seed and might win the NFC but without Bosa and Warner I don't think they are the best team. I guess if you win the conference technically you are the best but I think the Rams, Seahawks and Eagles are better teams. The best team doesn't always win and I think all teams are flawed. Seahawks might be the most complete team in the NFL with a top 5 defense, top 5 STs and top 10 offense but does anyone really trust Darnold to win a game for the 1 seed and then two more playoff games. Seems unlikely he has that in him without pulling one Darnold game.
