@k00b, I haven’t totally thought this through, but have you considered ranking posts by their cumulative economic activity: ie, zaps + fees including the comments?
I’m sure that has problems I haven’t thought of but it also accounts for more of a post’s value, including the value to the poster.
I've considered including fees in ranking but I haven't tried it yet. It makes sense considering posting costs aren't much different than boost currently.
