I think in a sense, their analysis is good because they start with "the people with power are greedy assholes and are screwing you" -- which is indubitably true. It also leads to good analysis because the people in power are the ones who drive decisions and shape the world.
I think where modern socialists' analysis usually fails is that they think the people without power would somehow do a better job. "If only we got the evil greedy bastards out of power, things would be better", not realizing that poor people are evil greedy bastards too, and that the more power you have the more easily you succumb to those temptations.
I really like her analysis. I really dislike her politics.
