It is great to hear from you! Not sure if you were able to hear the speech from Trump and others but would love to hear what your thoughts were on that! I highlighted the key points in my opinion here #1402525.

Based on what Trump said it seems that VP Delcy Rodríguez is willing to play ball and is in contact with Sec. of State Rubio. Also since we used F-22's and B-1 Lancers that is highly likely why there was zero defense at the beginning.

A second wave is clearly on the table if the military steps out of line so thankfully I feel that citizens should be safe. This wasnt a smash and grab and the U.S. seems willing to make sure that security and prosperity occurs.

I couldn't watch the press conference; I'll look for it. I read something about him intending to negotiate with Delcy, but he didn't comment on the Maria Corina and Edmundo situation. I'll read your post. I don't agree with him continuing to negotiate with the people currently in power because it would leave Venezuela (its citizens) in the same precarious situation.

He said in the press conference that he did not think that Ms. Machado had enough national support to lead the country (no idea on if that is true or not). I look forward to hearing what you say! When I checked this morning to see if you had posted anything I saw you hadnt for a few days and was concerned.... Happy to hear from you and see you are in contact with your family!

Looks like the U.S. strikes were spot on for disrupting a defense. Happy they didnt take out the phone lines!
