MGS2 narrative never ceased to impress, been reading and testing a lot on ChatGPT and AI drawings, it just reminds me the dystopian future is arriving much sooner than I expected.

Back in the days when the game was released, I took a module to specifically on information, how it flows, how we need to be aware of information existence in order to be able to search for information, censorship resistant etc. The general consensus at the time was that bad information would be drowned out by good and truthful information.

But it didn't take long for us to realise the harm of information overload, truths that don't have enough time to verify allow for more disinformation and misinformation and truth no longer matters. More information is almost useless when we simply lack the ability to analysis everything in competent ways possible.

The society is moving so fast that we haven't even been able to find a better way in handling information overload and we already are seeing the start of phrase 2, deep fakes and they are advancing extremely quick.
