Skanska said Friday that Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) has awarded it and joint venture partner Flatiron an $868 million contract for the $1.5 billion Airfield and Terminal Modernization Program (ATMP) Roadway Improvements project at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
Prior to this most recent award, Skanska said that LAWA had awarded the joint venture $604 million for preconstruction and construction work for the ATMP, including a $323 million contract for the first phase of construction.
Skanska said it expects the joint venture to be complete with this work at the end of 2030.
