Because I’m always experimenting with new batches, I usually start small. Once something feels dialed in, I want to scale it up - but figuring out the right ratios isn’t always obvious.

I recently read Scale by Geoffrey West, which dives into scaling laws and network effects. One idea that stuck with me is the 1.25 scaling rule: as systems grow, they tend to require proportionally less energy to sustain themselves. That got me thinking about ingredients, that maybe they don’t scale linearly, but instead follow a similar 1.25 multiple.

So I vibecoded a little app this morning to help me.

Give it a try if you want. I’m curious what you think, and I hope it ends up being useful.
