This is probably the most exciting news I've heard this week.

I had previously written here about Guy Tenenbaum, the stage 4 prostate cancer patient who beat it once, and after a reoccurrence, is again (hopefully!) about to beat it for a second time! Statistically, he should have died long time ago. But here he is, eight years later, thriving, despite not having followed the traditional chemotherapy and radiotherapy path.

This is huge for at least two reasons:

  1. It proves that Mr. Tenenbaum's "alternative" cancer protocol, which is based on sound science and an iron mindset, works!
  2. If true, we now have with "Oncosure" a very reliable, non invasive, affordable, and extremely quick way of proving the presence, or monitoring the evolution of any cancer. No more painful and dangerous biopsies, a blood sample would suffice, with results available within 24 hours!
statistically, he should have died long time ago
it proves that [...] works!

that is not how statistics work. this is a classic example of the anecdotal fallacy

reply

I have not opened the link yet, but are you telling me that the effects of mindset on heath outcome are merely anecdotal?

reply

no. i am saying, just because someone should be statistically dead and still lives, doesn't prove that what he is doing works

reply

Granted, "works for him" is probably more appropriate here, and I believe this is also the language used in the video.

But in any case, this is encouraging.
