Phew! What a game! Bills get it done on the road. First time in the playoffs since 1992. Let’s get into it:
- Josh Allen was amazing today. To shake off injuries (concussion check, throwing hand, hyper extended knee) he came back and was really good. 80% completion percentage and the throw to Brandin Cooks on the game winning drive was amazing. When the running game was giving the Bills nothing Josh put on his cape and willed this team to victory.
- The defense was solid this game. Trevor was having a hard time completing throws. The Jags should have stuck to the running game because the Bills struggled to stop the run. With that said the Bills came up with two INTs and a great 4th down stop to take more points off the board. Until the injury to Poyer the defense was looking like it was going to have a day but Trevor picked on the backup safety Hancock. Kudos to the Defense!
- This was a good game! I was shocked the Bills could pass the ball with no running game. The refs were okay. Jags got some calls and so did the Bills so I think the players decided the game today and not magical ref luck! Injuries to Gabe Davis and Poyer is why you want the first round bye now these players may not be available next week.
So glad the Bills won! Unless the chargers win it looks like we will play Denver next week again on the road.
Can Josh do it again?
Lawerence is better than Nix but the Denver defense might be better than Jacksonville’s. The Buffalo coaching staff has a lot of work to do
Prater made 2 big kicks, Bass or Badgely would have missed
Congrats Blok. On to the next one.
I expected Jags to win by 7 today
first time bills beat jags in playoffs? 1996, 2017, 2025
I believe so!

The link provided shows the all-time series record between the Buffalo Bills and the Jacksonville Jaguars (opponent ID 15 on that site).
I like the Bills chances against Denver more than I liked the matchup with Jacksonville.
