I built a small tracker that monitors Bitcoin blocks mined solo (SoloCK, Public Pool, etc) and pairs the live feed with a customisable stats view.

My goal is to make the reality of solo mining visible at a glance: droughts, win frequency, and clustering when it does happen - using mempool.space data with some extra validation on top. As with anything ‘solo’, this relies on an operational definition (single-address payout via known solo software). Edge cases exist and methodology is described on the page.

Cool!

Looks like it only goes back to 2023. Is that because pretty much all solo mined block before then were all CKpool?

reply

In part yes, but also because I'm yet to validate the historic data prior to 2023. I've tried to be quite careful with the definitions. I will continue to backfill if there's interest.
